Wet Letters is a photographic typeface/artist edition produced by Shannon Ebner and Source Type. The font uses Ebner’s Wet Letter alphabet images which have been a part of various works and exhibitions including THE SEAWEED SYNTHESIZER at kaufmann repetto, New York (2025), FRET SCAPES at kaufmann repetto, New York (2022) and WET WORDS IN A HOT FIELD at Atlman Siegel (2019). Wet Letters is a pioneer in the niche genre of photographic alphabets, and is a part of the project STRAY WORLD by Shannon Ebner in collaboration with David Reinfurt published by Source Type in 2022.
