Sylvan Lanz is a graphic and type designer based in Basel, Switzerland. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in graphic design at ECAL, Lausanne. He gained professional experience in Basel, Berlin, Zürich and Lausanne, among others at Elektrosmog, Zürich, and Studio Laurenz Brunner, Zürich. 2019 he was awarded the Swiss Design Award with his project Voicewriter, a voice visualising project based on the development of a variable font and a software.
